Strategic Communication | Social Media | Photography

Hey, I’m Andrew! I’m a Strategic Communication student at Liberty University with a minor in Social Media Management. I’m really interested in social media, marketing, photography, and creating content.

I’ve always enjoyed making content and seeing how a good idea can turn into something people actually want to watch or interact with. I’ve had the chance to work on social media, photography, videos, and different types of content through school, work, and my own social media. I’m hoping to continue growing in marketing and advertising and eventually work in a career where I can be creative and work with social media and brands. When I’m not doing school or work, I’m usually playing volleyball, taking pictures, hanging out with friends and family, or making some type of content.

A little background on why I love photography and what inspires me to do what I do!

Behind the Camera: My Photography Style

My Photography Style

Photography has become something I really enjoy doing because I like being able to capture moments and turn them into something people can look back on. Over time, I’ve started to figure out what kind of photos I enjoy taking and what style fits me best.

I love doing outdoor shoots, especially in the forest. I like the look of darker photos with more contrast because I feel like they stand out more and have a certain vibe to them. I also enjoy playing around with lighting and finding different spots that can make a photo look unique. I feel like being outdoors gives me more room to be creative and try different things.

I’ve also done sports photography, which is a lot different from taking portraits. With sports, you never really know what moment you’re going to capture, so you have to be ready. I enjoy catching the action and emotions during a game, especially with volleyball.

I’m still learning and trying to improve my photography, but I enjoy being able to experiment and find my own style. Whether I’m shooting outdoors, taking portraits, or photographing sports, I want my photos to have their own look instead of all feeling the same.

I’m excited to keep growing as a photographer and see what other opportunities come from it!
